My experiences from Frederick Maryland learning about Ebay, both as a Ebay customer and Ebay seller.
I figure I should see what it's like from the customers perspective before I try my hand at selling stuff on Ebay
You can find anything on eBay, from someones life to a Rick James jumpsuit, complete with bloodstains. So, for your reading pleasure I have compiled a list of some crazy items currently being auctioned off on eBay.
How about Moose Dropping Ear Rings???
For those of you who fall into the category of moose enthusiast, these are the perfect gift for you. Petrified moose droppings you can wear as earrings. This is real moose poo found in the Alaskan wilderness and brought to you by trendy LA / NY boutiques. Fashionable Feces, what will this Project Runway Generation think of next?

The $0.99 per-transaction fee is waived for Pro Merchant Subscribers.
Commission rates are as follows:
Amazon Kindle = 15 percent
Automotive parts and accessories = 12 percent
Camera and photo = 8 percent
Cell phones and accessories = 15 percent
Computers = 6 percent
Electronic items = 8 percent
Items in the Everything Else store = 15 percent
Musical instruments = 12 percent
Watches = 13 percent
All other product lines = 15 percent
Full Disclosure: To date I've not sold anything on either Ebay nor Amazon.com But to tell you the honest to God truth... it's because it takes money to sell on Ebay and from what I've seen it doesn't take money to sell on Amazon.com!
I can't GET PAID from Amazon.com without paying a fee of some kind, but with Ebay if you don't have the fee...you're just S.O.L.
